I'm glad it wasn't done on the face area, such as the nose!

i've left before but this time i'm through.. i don't have anything against simon.
i think he runs one of the best boards of this sort.
i guess i'm just bored with talking about jw's.. i'm cured.. .
Pro, if you feel that you have reached your limit in discussing JW's, then I wish you well and all the best.

the governing body of jehovahs witnesses.
dear brothers!
first of all i would like to say how much i appreciate your christian activity by continuing declaring the good news of the heavenly kingdom as foretold in matthew 24:14. i can say many other things to assure you of my sincere appreciation to your god-given work.
Benny, a great letter because you used their tactial style, you 'flooded' them with plenty of scriptures. You used reasoning and asked reasonable questions. I can't see them answering your letter. I've used the same approach and all I got from the Branch Office was a one sentence letter, and that was even off base. How about a follow letter to keep the soap opera alive? I did.

i am so in the dark.
i do not know what's going on and, quite frankly, i don't care to.
perhaps there is bliss in ignorance.
Good comment Bliss.

i have been searching the net for some excellent sites on the masons.
this past weekend we went down to nc for a wedding and my wife and i broke the news to our nonjw family that we were no longer involved with jw.
i could not believe the open arm welcome my uncle and aunt were almost in tears- they told us we have seen you come home each yr from the main office in ny and then you got married and you would come home and we wanted to say something about the jw but you seemed to be so well respected by the local jw - whenever we would tell folks that our newphew was up in ny- the jw would get all excited- they told us they thought it was so sad for i only made $90 a month.
JT, do your own personal exploring about the Masons. There's plenty of books available about Freemasonry. This is not the first time that this subject has been put on the table.
Would it make a difference if I told you that I have many personal family members and relatives who are Masons? Many of my relatives who are high rise steelworkers belong to unions that is dominanted by Masons.
One of the important things you need to learn is that there's an 'invisable' and 'visable' part to this organization. Not every single member of this organization is in the top inner circle or eye.
Interestingly, the majority of the signers of the Constitution were Freemasons. The Statue of Liberty was given by the French Freemasons to the English (American) Freemasons. Enough said.

would you change the way you made your exit from the org and if so, how?
I couldn't have planned it any better. I left on a happy note! No regrets and no remorse.
